		<description>Years ago I wrote an article on homeschooling and found that kids can really excel. Just look at Christopher Paolini, who wrote Eragon at age 15. I have a lot of respect for the parents I interviewed, but they did tell me it&#039;s not for every kid, or parent. The problems for me would be fitting in work with homeschooling; I just don&#039;t see how I could make this work. And that I think it helps if the homeschooled child is self-motivated and able to work independently, which my son is not. Plus I have to admit that, sad to say, seventh-grade math is beyond me! 

But I would love to hear anyone else&#039;s experiences....</description>
